Layering image sequences with vector elements in After Effects is a common technique used in motion graphics and animation. This process allows you to combine the flexibility of vector graphics with the dynamic nature of image sequences to create compelling visual effects.

Jump into layering your footage with Chroma Key Compositing (using a green screen & Keylight in After Effects) and Rotoscoping (using the Roto Brush Tool in After Effects). Chroma keying is using color information to select a very specific range of colors and isolate them, while Rotoscoping is like ‘tracing’ an item out of your footage.
